At the end of last school year at South Davis Jr High,workers started to work on the cellphone tower that is located in our school parking lot. Many of you are probably not aware of what they did to this tower. They upgraded this tower to the new 5G technology. This technology was first rolled out in California and Arizona about 3 years ago. A 5G tower was put up in an elementary school parking lot located in Ripon, California. Since then four students and three teachers have been diagnosed with cancer that is 100% linked to environmental factors. These “environmental factors” can be linked to radiation from the 5G tower. In order for this tower to be taken down, two-hundred parents stormed a district meeting and demanded the district to take it down. Since then the tower has been removed, and there has been no more problems. 
 
 
The 4G LTE technology we currently use, uses electromagnetic waves that are bigger than humans, but 5G introduces millimeter waves. Millimeter waves can travel into our bodies and split human cells. There have been many scientific studies done on the harmful effects of 5G. Some of these effects include: 
 
 
-Attack our Nervous System 
-Attack our Endocrine System 
-Produce oxidative stress and free radical damage 
-Attack the DNA of our cells 
-Lower male and female fertility 
-Attack the cells of our bodies to cause cancer 
 
The threats of 5G are so serious that the city of San Francisco actually banned any 5G towers from going up within their city limits. These threats are so serious that this new technology is banned in specific European countries.  

As a student at this school, I do not want to suffer from these effects, nor do I want any of my fellow students, or Faculty and Staff to suffer from these life-threatening health effects. It is crucial that people are aware about the risks of 5G.
