Quewezance convictions sent back to the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal by Justice Minister

A significant day in the Quewezance case.

This morning, the Minister of Justice officially announced the convictions of Odelia and Nerissa Quewezance will be sent back to the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.

For those of us who have stood alongside the sisters and continued to advocate for them over the years, this is an incredibly meaningful development. We have never stopped supporting Odelia and Nerissa, and today marks an important step forward in their pursuit of justice.

I’m grateful to everyone who has continued to speak up, stand beside them, and keep their story in the public conversation.
