In the state of Illinois it is legal to sell, purchase, or have possession of a semi-automatic weapons. In The United States of America in June of 2016 there had been at least 84 deaths and 119 injuries in cases involving semi-automatic weapons.

 As a student in a school that has been affected by shooting threats, one of the things I was highly concerned about was that I knew if someone really had intended to harm the students in the school they would have fairly easy access to a semi-automatic rifle and could have brought it to the school with them. I do not want any other student or person in the state of Illinois to have this kind of fear.

Us, the individuals that have signed below, insist for you, David Reis, to vote for the ban of semi-automatic rifles, making it illegal to sell, purchase, or have possession of a semi-automatic rifles.
