In the past few weeks there have been numerous problems in the Birchwood area of Hatfield. 

Problems mainly include vandalism and arson with property being damaged and various things (In one case a bmw) being torched. 

The people of Birchwood feel unsafe and feel a higher police presence in the area is needed at night time.
