On the eve of the release of NHS England's decision to fund Eculizumab for Abi, released yesterday, our 1st ever blog in the Huffington Post. 27/6 NHS England decided whether the vital medicine Abi desperately needs, Eculizumab, would be funded. 15 months of sheer determination and round the clock work has got us to a policy which states NHS England WILL commission the treatment for patients like Abi. BUT..... Now they need to decide whether they will fund this treatment for patients with Dense Deposit Disease allowing them to access this lifesaving medicine as others receive it today in hospitals all over England.
