BBC Cymru Wales should be considering the real possibility of trying to secure a contract with David Bowie.. to play the future incarnation of The Doctor, after Peter Capaldi.

If you think about it, combining two british icons, such as Bowie and Who..
Peter Capaldi, is one of the great British icons in the entertainment industy, a star on national television and soon to be portraying one of the greatest characters ever created, The Doctor.
"..who else would be a superp choice, to travel through time and space.."
David Bowie, a chameleon in every way. With his ever changing appearance and ethos to life; alien charateristics, right down to his visual aspects, such as his muliti-coloured eyes and his obscure and sometimes 'Scratch Your Head' Behavior makes him almost perfect for the role of Doctor Who.
He is a classic example of someone who in very much the same way, embodys somewhat natural traits that we associate with The Doctor, in many of his incarnations.
Much like the Fourth Doctor, Tom Baker.

David Bowie could have a hugely simmilar impact on the generations of the Twenty-First Century, with his lovable charm, wit and energy.
He has always been at the forefront of change, if he wasn't creating it himself.. this is what gives him advantage to connect with the youth of today's world.

Don't Get Me Wrong, I Believe Peter Capaldi, Is The Perfect Choice For The Doctor, He Is A Very Accomplished Actor And Whovian, However..
Peter Capaldi's incarnation of the Doctor will bring an all to familiar, but much loved re-characterization of The Original Doctor, and once again, as if it were from William Hartnell's incarnation, we have a chance to shape the future of the show for another 50 Years.
*..i believe that after Peter Capaldi's incarnation of The Doctor has travelled through time and space, it should be time to concider one of England's, possibly the World's biggest alien persona's to have their time; to step into the tardis and take place among the Whoniverse. David Bowie.

*Now i must point out, David Bowie has shown no intention of re-entering the world of screen acting. However, if enough of a following is gained, i am sure, he would not be able to ignore that fact that a huge fan following of both 'British Icons' have strong possibilities in mind of him to be cast the role of The Doctor.
