Hope that DASD Board will look into our request tomorrow. Also forwarding a few related news links
Good morning!
Our petition has amassed over 850 signatures in less than a week. THANK YOU!
Parents spoke up in concern for the rising COVID numbers and their children getting sick.
The requested option will help the kids and families under quarantine, immunocompromised, get vaccine/booster and many more since there is no social distancing or masks during lunch and contact tracing is nearly impossible
We hope that DASD will come up with a temporary virtual/remote learning option that helps kids/families/staff and
go easy on the attendance policy for a few weeks as long as the kids get their work done
