Dear petition signers, Outer Banks residents, and MHS + MMS alumni,

We want to thank you so much for your support, and update you on the initiative. 

On August 1st, we sent the Dare County Board of Education our Policy Brief and supplementary documents. On September 2nd, their agenda committee will review our request to be an agenda item on the next public meeting which is September 8th.

In anticipation of their September 2nd decision, we created an email template for our petition supporters to email the members of the Board of Education. Your grassroots effort will be very helpful for putting the issue to their attention, so we ask that you consider personalizing the template and sending it their way.
