These bills will consolidate both Laurens District 55 and 56, while giving control to the Laurens County Council. The passage of this bill will take both parent choice and community influence out of the decision making in our schools. Consolidating our schools will cause a loss of jobs and less educational opportunity for our children. Contact State Senator Danny Verdin, Rep. Mike Pitts, and Rep. Mark Willis and tell them to kill the bills!
