On behalf of the Indian community in western suburbs and especially in Wyndham region, The Indian Culture Precinct Action Committee asks Wyndham Council and Victorian Government to position the planned Indian Cultural Precinct at the most appropriate location in Wyndham. Such location should be central to the socio-economic and cultural fabric of the city. The location definitely cannot be an isolated park. If the Indian Cultural Precinct is positioned in an isolated park then community would treat it as an insult to their social, economic and cultural contributions to Victoria. Rather such money can be donated to install proper security cameras in Tarneit to control crime wave rather than wasting it in a park.
