URGENT.

Update:

Vicroads is currently cutting down trees on Hillside Rd., Buangor, and starting their planned route!

2 dedicated Aboriginal people are protesting at the site, on Hillside Rd ., Buangor! The roadworks is not visible from the Western Highway.

In order to help the 2 protestors, we need more people to gather at the site to support the protesters! We want to stop the damage, until we can have further discussions with authorities about a less destructive way forward.

If you are able to support the 2 aboriginal protesters, you will need to enter from the Ararat end of Hillside Rd. Your car will need to be parked on Hillside Rd., near the only house on the left side, and then you can walk to the work site which is about 800 metres away!

NB: police have been in attendance today (16/10/26) to check on the protesters who have locked themselves onto to a tree!
