Protect Victoria's coastline by saying NO to Carbon Storage

The Victorian and Federal governments are wasting billions of tax payer dollars on the 'CarbonNet Project' to capture and store waste CO2 from coal powered stations off our beautiful coastline.

There are quicker and cheaper technologies available right now that our governments could be pursuing and funding, rather than betting our future on the pipe-dream of a coal industry more concerned about protecting profits than our planet (https://environmentvictoria.org.au/our-campaigns/safe-climate/myth-clean-coal/burying-pollution/

Similar projects have been rejected overseas due to risks of CO2 leakage and environmental damage, lack of economic viability and the fact that these technologies do NOT correct the problem of global warming which only renewable energy technologies can.

Protect our future by demanding that our governments stop propping up the coal companies and start driving more funding toward renewable energy.
