Thank you for supporting my effort to make sure vehicle safety ratings consider those outside of vehicles - pedestrians, cyclists, and even those in other cars. As you know, your signature helped make it possible for the USDOT to improve the New Car Assessment Program and make our vehicles safer.

But the need doesn’t stop there.

I hope you will also sign on to a petition from Tammy McGee, another parent whose child was killed in a car crash by a driver going 70 mph on a 35 mph road. Tammy is fighting to make sure we #StopSuperSpeeders by using existing anti-speeding technology to limit reckless drivers. It allows violators to still get around - but they can do so safely.
