Our petition and social media campaign went very far in raising awareness of an exploitable loop-hole in PayPal's policies. There was a small update to policy wording a few months ago, but I didn't feel it went far enough with the wording to protect online entertainers who accept tips/donations from fraudulent charge-backs and outrageous fees by PayPal. We continued our campaign. Today, however, a new update has been released which, in my opinion, now better protects (written policy wise) anyone who accepts tips/donations through PayPal. The policy now includes wording for donations and how Buyers and Sellers are not protected with PayPal's Protection programs (charge-backs).
