Make Dallas a no-kill city!
Make Dallas a no-kill city!
The Issue
In 2008, Austin started the ambitious project of turning the city into a no-kill city. A short three years later, in February 2011, the city was officially deemed "no-kill." (To be a no-kill city it must have a live outcome rate of over 90% on a month to month basis). Currently, Dallas Animal Services reports that it euthanizes roughly half of all animal intakes. With the help of the people, Dallas City Council can follow Austin's footsteps and pass a plan similar to their No-Kill Plan that was passed unanimously by the Austin City Council. Please sign the petition to get the attention of the Dallas City Council and help save a life!
