Dog tethering has been illegal in Dallas TX since 2008. But now the city council will be considering whether to change the laws and make it legal. City staff have proposed revisions to the city code, and the city council's vote is imminent.

Now is the time for Dallas residents and animal advocates to let the city council know they oppose legalizing dog tethering. We don't know yet if any council members support the revisions that would legalize tethering, so we must make our voices heard and let them know how we feel.
