This petition was started for exposure of Damien Mikell legal INJUSTICE! On how Judge Greenspan overlooked my weight claim. Ten days after being sentenced, Damien Mikell presented a great legal issue for appeal review. Based upon the fact the weight of evidence did NOT support a first degree Murder conviction (which was denied). Damien’s co-defendant presented the exact same appeal (that was given to him by Damien Mikell) seven years later to have his sentence and conviction overturned by the same trial judge that overlooked and denied Damien’s years prior. A horrible Miscarriage of Justice has occurred where Damien Mikell’s co-defendant had his wrongful conviction overturned and released from prison eleven years ago. Where as Damien Mikell has yet to have his wrongful conviction, overturned and be release. Despite Damien and his co-defendant presented the exact same legal issues for appellate review. FACTS: Two innocent men charged with the same crime, and sentenced. Both of them summited the same exact legal appellate review. One man sentence overturned and released, while the other man (Damien Mikell) stays intact and remains in prison. Damien Mikell’s trial judge overlooked the legal issue that Damien Mikell presented for review. Damien Mikell has not given up hope for JUSTICE in spite of the daily hardships he faces. Damien has been fighting to prove his innocence from day one and continues to fight for his freedom within the justice system by filing numerous appeals that seems to fall by the wayside. Damien is seeking immediate justice in this matter within the courts system. Damien Mikell has not just had years taken away from him. He’s lost countless of family members as well to the overlooked evidence that he presented.
