New “unlimited” data plans

A huge thank you to everyone who has signed this petition — almost 200,000 Canadians who know we deserve better, more affordable cell phone service! 

The big telcos are paying attention to this petition and slow progress is being made. Have you heard about the new “unlimited” data plans now being offered by the big three? While they aren’t actually unlimited (they have a data cap after which speeds are reduced), they are a step in the right direction. But so much more needs to be done! 

It’s a crucial time to make change. Right now, the CRTC is conducting a review of Canada’s mobile wireless market, which means changes to increase competition could — and absolutely should — soon happen. Your voice has never been so important.
