Here am I having suffered three separate physical injuries over the last six weeks and subject to continuing harassment and stalking and yet this weekend I find out the following:

• The OIC who conducted my false arrest has now run away and is based at a different station and will have nothing further to do with the case which means I will never get back the equipment he stole from me; 
• The OIC who is meant to be helping me by prosecuting my tormentor has emailed to say he won't answer any more of my emails and can not decide whether this is because he is on holiday or busy elsewhere; 
• The inspector who was trying to make things happen has been reassigned and the new inspector has refused to let themselves be identified and might as well not exist; 
• The superintendent who is meant to keep all of these officers on the straight and narrow Has gone on holiday and not nominated a stand-in.

I'm also told they do not wish a witness statement from me Presumably because if they got one they would have to do something.

It is just on 60 years since the police announced they didn't need the general public on their side anymore (based on the artificial peace and quiet which had resulted from the orderliness of a public most of whom had been subject to the disciplines of service in uniform), and now we are all paying the price.
