For those of you who have not been following in detail, at the time of writing this, I have 16 activeve complaints about the way I've been treated by the police to the Independent Office of Police Complaints.

Each of these complaints has been handed to the same junior officer at Kingston Police station to investigate and who has resolutely refused to do anything but to take the word of the offending officer as gospel and accordingly dismiss the complaint entirely.

We have pointed out, many times, that this means the investigation is neither independent nor fair but nobody seems to care and indeed it appears the system is intentionally designed to be neither independent or fair.

Our latest complaint referred to 4 different breaches of the Human Rights Act, 2 separate breaches of the Equality Act and threatened breaches of the Data Protection Act. The outcome report just received is so full of outright lies both by the investigating officer and the officers being investigated that I have now had to lodge a formal complaint about the investigating officer herself.

In a kafka-esque sort of way, no doubt she will be automatically given the job of investigating her own previous bad conduct.

Of course that sounds absolutely insane, as that would be obvious conflict of interests, ie when an individual has competing interests or loyalties and ability to influence decisions in their favor.

But if your only reality is insanity, insanity becomes your reality and the reality is that everyone completely ignores Section 39A of the Police Act 1996 and the code of practice for ethical policing has no teeth, so this is not only possible but highly likely!
