The first time any mans freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged!

Interestingly, a few days ago there was a letter to the Editor printed in The Times by John Kendall of Birmingham University highlighting the need for more external oversight of how detainees in police custody are treated, due to numerous continuing breaches of human rights and falsification of evidence etc. "This is just one more area where the police need to be regulated"
Unfortunately, I can personally attest to the fact that malpractice is currently present in Kingston police station.
At no point during officer Young's incoherent and at times rambling interrogation attempts, which lasted nearly 6 hours and was suspended by the staff doctor, did he even approach anything close to a rational line of enquiry, nothing substantive was offered against me, much less proven, and everybody in the room left the building dummer for having listened to some of the most insanely idiotic nonsense ever committed to an official record.
It quickly became clear to me, my lawyer and everyone else there was no case, when they produced as evidence, to be used against me in a court of law, my late mother's rune stones which they had seized from my bedroom.
The last time I checked, religion and belief where still protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010, so now I can add religious persecution in addition to using both my physical and cognitive disabilities against me during interview under caution!
I didn't read law at university, but something tells me that if your strongest "evidence" is based on the religious practises of your suspect, the Crown Prosecution Service might just think you're taking the p**s.
Needless to say, my street bail conditions make it impossible for me to tell you more about this comedy of errors, but there was a point where their allegations where just so very stupid that I almost started laughing.
