We won. Extinction Rebellion Cumbria has declared that the site is a crime scene. And I suppose that all who work there are criminals. Just the same as in Australia where local "socialists" opposed the construction of Adani Mine and called the workers there, criminals. The Aus mining families ran them out of town. When will socialists wake up and realise the these Green Groups and XR are against the interests of the working class. One XR member has been convicted of attacking a trade union office. Their alternative green jobs are just pie in the sky just like Biden who stated that the alternative for miners in the States was learn to code.

There are other mining proposals in the North East namely at Dewley Hill, to mine steam coal.

The (Labour) council prefers coal to be shipped from overseas rather that provide work for local workers.

And these same councils wonder why that buffon Boris can make inroads. If the council had more concern for local workers instead of sucking up to the greens, Boris wouldn't get a look-in.
