Many universities across the nations have began a movement to create a safe haven for black students in their housing environment. Cal State Northridge should be next on the list to implement this movement.

CSUN can join in on this movement by having the backing of fellow students alike, staff, parents and alumni. Creating this living learning community CSUN can continue its goal of being inclusive.

"African & Black Culture (ABC)" would be a living learning community.

designed to enhance the residential experience for students who are a part of or interested in issues of concern to the Black community living on campus. to explore the rich history and intellectual and political traditions of Black Americans.
