• & ask to speak to Mr. Hugh Blackwell concerning this petition. If you or a loved one is suffering or has suffered a similar situation to this - you'll understand why it's of great importance to me. My children have been so negatively impacted by all of this that they just aren't the same kids they used to be. They had nothing to do with the argument between my mother in law and her boyfriend. They don't deserve to suffer the wrath of a spiteful family member. They are innocent. Anyone who willingly puts children thru numerous CPS cases & invasive physical and verbal exams knowing full well that those children are happy, healthy & well taken care of should HAVE TO SUFFER CONSEQUENCES TO THEIR CRIMES. What crimes? You may ask.... 
• wasting emergency resources
• Knowingly and willfully filing false reports to police
• Knowingly & willfully filing false cps reports

what do I want out of all of this?

• a law changed or created in North Carolina to be able to deem malicious reporting so long as you have proof of the fact that these reports are being made out of spite or retaliation & have proven your innocence against the allegations more than once.
• A system that not only listens to the parents, but also a system that lets our children be heard! My daughter expressed her concerns numerous times & told them that she wasn't comfortable being looked at "down there" but I, as her mother was caught between a rock and a hard place because I wanted to put her comfort first, but I also knew if I refused the exam, CPS could take custody and authorize the exams for themselves anyway... So I had to be the one begging her to cooperate with their requests and I had to help "comfort" her during the examination. She had tears flooding her eyes, very visibly uncomfortable, and her face during the exams LITERALLY haunt me every. single. day. 
• Once it's all done & we get a law passed... We want my mother in law extradited from her current whereabouts back to NC,  ARRESTED & CHARGED WITH CHILD ABUSE, SYSTEM ABUSE, WASTING EMERGENCY RESOURCES & HARASSMENT via emergency resources. 

This woman doesn't deserve to continue walking around free & unpunished for the torment she has caused my family. I say that you shouldn't have to be sitting right there with the child and physically harming them to go to jail. 

You should have to face the same consequences for causing the physical and emotional distress as you would if you were caught physically abusing the children. We all know that this isn't fair to my children or many others going thru the same type of thing. Help me and my family make this change, and you could potentially be saving the lives of families being torn apart solely on false allegations & put the REAL PERPETRATORS BEHIND BARS!
