I am SO excited to announce that Cricut has heard us and changed their stance on forcing CURRENT machine owners into this new subscription. They are also addressing a program for educators and schools but haven't announced what. Lastly they are making the statement they are guaranteeing they will NOT brick your machine if you sell them. Now the bad news. After Dec 31, 2021 they WILL be charging to use the Design Space as they annouced for NEW machines and accounts. I am not clear how this will work if you are an existing account and add a machine. That is a question for them. I would say at this point, proceed with caution and an ear to the ground on what they are doing. BUT if you are team Cricut and want to stay that is totally possible now without paying them to stay. Now let's get back to enjoying the awesome things we all create! Thank you to each and everyone one of you that signed, donated, shared, called media, reached out to Cricut.
