We’re excited to introduce The Star Chamber Podcast, where history and modern governance intersect to spark insightful conversations! In our debut episode, we’ll examine the fascinating parallels between the Star Chamber of 15th-century England and contemporary U.S. government administrative processes, with a particular focus on the uniformed services within the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security.
Much like the English Star Chamber, known for its secretive, centralized practices which often circumvented the rule of law and principles of due process, we’ll explore how these echoes of history resonate today—especially in the administrative proceedings of those who serve and protect.
