Last week, we published "'Independent Watchdog' turned Institution's Lapdog - the Failure of the DoDIG System."  We invite you to visit our news site to download a copy and send it to your Representatives and Senators urging them to enact the recommendations for reform with.  

In the exhaustive 80+ page report, which included 2,200+ petition signatures and over 40 individual case studies, we highlighted the key trends from analysis of over 300 cases we've dealt with at the Walk the Talk Foundation:

1. A lack of due process and transparency,
2. Conflicts of interest due to Inspectors’ General and command-appointed investigating officers’ subordination to commanders,
3. Inadequate training of Inspectors General and command-appointed investigating officers,
4. Lack of timeliness in investigations,
5. Link to the military suicide and mental health crisis,
6. Normalization of deviance.
