Good evening to all. I know you haven’t heard from me in awhile but I wanted you to see what has been happening. You are the FIRST to get a “sneak peek” at the ENVISION BATON ROUGE WEB SITE .  The link is below

A public press release will go out Wednesday.

“What’s your vision for Baton Rouge?”  That question, often asked of Jenni Peters, founder of Varsity Sports in Baton Rouge’s Garden District, sparked an idea, which attracted like-minded supporters.

Jenni said that became the foundation of Envision Baton Rouge, a new community-focused initiative from Jenni and other volunteers.

Jenni, who was recently honored as a Community Catalyst by WRKF, Baton Rouge’s Public Radio Station, said, “We’ve all been to other cities the same size as Baton Rouge and seen things that would be great for our own community. We want Envision to be a conduit to collect those ideas. Then we want to gather people together to put the energy and resources toward the best ideas and help make them a reality to build a better Baton Rouge.”

Initially, Envision Baton Rouge has focused on three subjects: The Perkins Road Underpass Project, BREC’s City Park, and BREC’s Brooks Park.

Please click to view a variety of photos and ideas at https://envisionbatonrouge.org  - What do you like?  What are your ideas?

For those of you living in East Baton Rouge Parish, who want to support this initiative, you can send your name and/or business logo to envisionbatonrouge@gmail.com.

Thank you for your interest in our parks and the quality of life in Baton Rouge. Let's make it happen!
