Hello dear small dog fans.  I am so pleased to report that our councillor, Maureen Wilson and her staff, along with the Public Works Department, voted on and have approved our request for a small breed section, funded by Ward One funds already available!  This means this project will not add to the increase in property taxes, it was already collected.  The only hurdle left to jump is approval by City Council, which looks good, especially as there were many councillors on the Public Work’s committee who voted yes.  Word is, the work to make the small dog section will happen this year.  Yahoooo! Thank you all for your support and advocacy.  Fairness is possible, we deserve this improvement, and our advocacy made a difference.  It can be done.  I will let you know WHEN the vote has passed, so we can celebrate 🎉
