Teddy was a beloved companion of Fab, a Kirkendall resident in favour of our initiative.  She would love to use a small section with her other two small pups.

New signatures come in almost every day, likely from patrons of local pet spas where groomers/owners continue to spread word of our mission.  We are well on our way to the amazing goal of 500!  If you know a dog owner in Kirkendall who hasn’t signed, please encourage them to do so.   Reaching 500 signatures will send a message that a SMALL DOG SECTION of HILL STREET DOG PARK is overdue and very much needed, especially during icy and salty sidewalk times, which seem to start earlier every year.

I think the new year will bring us positive news from The City of Hamilton, Parks Department, our city councillor Maureen Wilson and her staff.   Thanks to all for your ongoing support.  The engines of city hall move slowly, but we are almost there!  Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
