Thanks to very helpful communications with both Councillor Maureen Wilson’s team and the Parks Department I have some news that will make larger dog owners very happy.  Parks is considering an ADDITION to the current dog park. If this is what you would prefer, please sign the petition to show your support.  I have changed the wording of the petition to include BOTH options, so we have a better chance of success.  Small dog owners are entitled to a safe place for our pets and ourselves, just as large dog owners currently have. We pay taxes too, and we also own the land.    Make it fair play for our smaller pups.  We have 288 signatures online, and 41 at the park!  That’s a total of 🐾🐾🐾 329!  Let’s get to 500!  PLEASE share the petition with anyone in Ward 1, including Ainslie Woods, Strathcona, Westdale, Dundas and Kirkendall, as well as neighbouring Durand, Central Hamilton and Corktown, as pups come from these areas and beyond!
