Create a PVE only mode in ARC Raiders
The Issue
I was a dedicated player of ARC Raiders, yet for reasons beyond my control, my experience has been marred by issues prevalent in the PvPvE mode. It's not just me who faces these problems; many players have expressed their frustrations about similar issues.
In the current PvPvE mode, rampant cheating and frequent griefing disrupt the intended experience. It's disheartening to see the vast potential of ARC Raiders overshadowed by this. Attempting to enjoy a leisurely gaming session often turns into a struggle to keep pace with those who play solely to target others.
What compounds this issue is the growing trend among players who solely focus on hunting others, diminishing the fun for casual gamers like myself. Starting all the way from players hunting down others across the maps, to extract campers ruining raids for casuals. These challenges discourage casual players, who just want to relish the gameplay without the stress and intensity of a competitive environment.
A dedicated Player vs Environment (PvE) mode could remediate this. It would provide an opportunity for players who love the game's universe and want to explore its challenges without the constant threat of antagonistic players. Such a mode would not only attract the casual gaming community back to ARC Raiders but also allow for a more inclusive and balanced gaming experience.
There is a proven demand for dedicated PvE modes in multiplayer games, as evidenced by similar adaptations in other gaming titles. These modes allow players with various skill levels and gaming interests to coexist peacefully, enjoying the game in diverse ways.
We urge the developers of ARC Raiders to consider implementing a PvE mode that caters to this audience. It would rejuvenate enthusiasm, broaden the player base, and encourage newcomers to join without fear of harassment or unfair competition.
By signing this petition, you're supporting a more inclusive gaming environment where everyone can enjoy ARC Raiders. Let’s make this change together for the betterment of our gaming community.
