Hello friends and family!
We reached over 1,000 signatures and counting after my interview with Telemundo aired. I am extremely thankful for all the shares and new signatures. Our Telemundo interview on Instagram reached over 12,000 views.
Here are some updates:
• I have a friend who has a friend who is connecting me with someone at Mattel! EXCITING!
• I reached out to the Miss Universe organization and they are excited to help us pitch this idea to Mattel as well. EVEN MORE EXCITING!
• Lastly, another tv producer has reached out to me for another possible interview in the new year. MORE AIR TIME!
Since its launch in 1959, over 250 different Barbies have been created, with more than 1 billion dolls sold worldwide. However, there is not a single Barbie from Central America represented and it's severely overdue. Our next goal is to connect with Mattel and present our case for proper representation, starting with Miss Nicaragua. Please keep on sharing this petition. The more signatures, the better.
