You’ll be relieved to know that Cass, Rachel and Sarah all arrived safely in London yesterday, in varying degrees of exhaustion.

We can’t tell you how much it meant to be able to see each other in person for the first time. It feels a lot less lonely to be on this journey.

Rachel accidentally ran into Layla Moran this morning and she had some very kind words for us.

We are also delighted to tell you that the Scottish Parliament debate went ahead, with some strong support for Keyworkers with occupational long covid. We would like to thank Jackie Baillie for bringing the debate, as well as Alex Cole-Hamilton, Dr Sandesh Gulhane, Foysol Choudhury, Mark Griffin and many more for all they’re doing and their incredible speeches.

We have a long day ahead. It feels very unsettling to put ourselves so much in public, but we know we are doing the right thing. We know you are behind us. We are being heard.

So thanks so much - others on the team are handling our Twitter on this first International Long Covid Awareness Day, stars that they are. We’d like to thank LCNMUK, Long Covid advocacy, Long Covid Kids, Long Covid SOS, Long Covid Scotland, Long Covid Support and all the other support groups, charities & organisations for their support and work.

Onwards!
