Hi everyone and we hope you’re enjoying your weekend.

We are finalising our plans to go to London and we really hope we will see as many of you there as possible. 

Tell all your friends with Long Covid - the teachers, police officers, posties, bus and train drivers, supermarket and essential retail workers, doctors, nurses, social workers, council and government workers, healthcare support workers - let them all know!

We would love to have as many keyworkers with occupational long Covid to support us as we hand the petition into Downing Street on the 15th March.

We are also finalising plans for somewhere people can come and meet up with us before we leave to walk to Downing Street - we will keep you posted! 

We have recently written to MPs and the Minister for Work and Pensions. If you feel able to, please write to your MP to ask them to put questions in about when they will take action on creating the compensation and pension scheme. Tell them your stories, about what benefits you are or are not getting, the situation you’re in. March 15th is Budget Day, but if we can even get one question about when they’ll sort this out or they’ll make Budget provision for us all it would be amazing.

Finally, we have almost finished our survey, which we would like as many people as possible to take. It covers sections on what sector you work in, working now and benefits. It’s entirely anonymous, but has a section for you to tell us your story as well. As soon as we have a link that’s ready to go we will let you know. 

It will close on 13th March. It is for ANYONE who has occupational long Covid who worked or works in a keyworker role. We will need people to complete it, share it and generally tell people about it.
