A New Goal - Help Us Reach It
Good morning everyone - here at Petition HQ, we have been talking about what we would like to do with this campaign. There’s other actions we would like you to take, if you feel able, but that’s not the focus of this post.
We want to be able to take this petition - in person - to the people in power on International Long Covid Day, which is March 15th, 2023. We are going to speak to a number of people about how to make that happen.
What we want is to be able to present a petition that has 150,000 supporters. Can you help us?
For that date, we would like to get as many questions asked in The House of Commons, Holyrood, Senedd, Northern Ireland Assembly - if your MPs, MSPs, MSs, MLAs are also willing, let’s have private member debates being raised for around that time too!
Two things you can do that might make this happen are 1) Continuing to share and sign this petition as much as you can and 2) Write to your elected representatives:

Behind the scenes we are contacting the media, writing letters to editors of newspapers, contacting our elected members - and we will keep on doing that.
We will keep on telling your stories. We are also keen to make contact with unions, as well as other Keyworkers - so if you’re a teacher, doctor, police, paramedic, ambulance service, in transport, postal service - we really want to hear from you. We need to know what the background is for you all and we would love to have you join the team - for as little or as much as you can put in. None of us are very well and this takes a lot out of you.
