We are close to 10,000 signatures, for the sacrifice of nearly 5000 healthcare providers

Thank you for sharing this petition. We are close to 10,000 signatures now. But that is still a small number compared to the fact that nearly 5000 healthcare providers have lost their lives battling this disease in the last 2 years, in India alone.

We want to create better work conditions for healthcare professionals through this petition. Increasing administrative and legal liabilities are forcing healthcare providers to shift from practice to hospital jobs, from their own community and underserved areas to the metros, skewing the provider-patient ratio. The government needs to acknowledge the sacrifice of the foot soldiers of healthcare, atleast at the time of an International emergency, an how wars are not just physical but can be biological too.
