Toni Stacy is physically and emotionally drained and abused by the three years of imprisonment of her dog Niko. He was accused but never proved guilty of killing a cat. He was taken by animal control and she was told that they would let her have him back in ten days. That’s been three years ago. She visits if they choose to let her, but that’s not often. She lies on the floor in front of his cage so she can pet him. She is not allowed to take him out of the cage or for a walk. Her family and her are at a loss of what to do now. She has a lawyer but is afraid niko is going to lose his spirit if she isn’t allowed to take him home soon. Three years is enough punishment for a dog.
