We the undersigned, as caring members and supporters of Maui County’s community, object to changes to Chapter 101 of the Department of Liquor Control’s Rules Governing The Manufacture And Sale Of Intoxicating Liquor, specifically §08-101-25 (4), related to allowing 24-hour retail sales of alcohol in Maui County.

We support:

1. A public hearing to reconsider the amendments approved on February 8, 2017 by the County’s Liquor Commission;

2. A repeal of the 24-hour alcohol retail sales law
