Multiple people had reached out saying things would be rectified early this week. I guess we were too optimistic. We were hopeful that a call would be received this morning, court would ensue, and Leo would be home snuggled on a warm, cozy bed. Instead, he will spend night #18 on a rock hard cement floor. 

Sadly, more people have come forward to share their experiences. Some very similar and some that did not end favorably. We are deeply sorry that we were not able to save those animals but we will do everything to save any future ones from being victims of this mismanaged department. 

On the bright side, we have officially received news attention and an article is being published tomorrow. Thank you for all your support, signatures, and prayers.
