Because of a letter from their lawyer today, I will be introducing the opposing side when I get up to speak so I get up I will be saying, “Meet the Citizens Against Linscott/Interstate Asphalt Plant”.
Please respond by raising your arms, standing up, or cheering, whatever you want but please respond.

Our Attorney's letter to the County Commissioners and CC to Interstate lawyers must have really made them nervous because today they wrote to County Commissioners and claimed our group, Citizens Against Linscott/Interstate Asphalt Plant, should not be heard because they claim we have not been part of the record and opposing them. WHO IS Citizens Against Linscott/Interstate Asphalt Plant? – YOU! Anyone who signed this petition, along with  and 115 signed the reconsideration letter. They are claiming we are not  an AFFECTED PERSON, but many of you are - because you live close enough for it to affect you.(see below who is considered affected)
At the hearing, starting at 9, we hope to be the only file heard, the Bonner County Planning department will speak first, then Interstate will speak with their lawyers, then they will allow us, the public to testimony. 
When you get there,  sign in and please mark the box OPPOSE and if you don’t want to speak when your name is called, then you can say you want to give your time to the opposing view. 
Another way to give your time is when you hear someone speak and the timer goes off, if they continue and they are shut down and you want them to continue because they have some great points, raise your hand and loudly say, "I give them my 3 minute".  
If for some reason you don’t want to give your time to someone else and you don’t want to speak(not sure why) when they call you name you can say,“I oppose and pass”
Keep track if you say it the same time as someone else, they may not have taken yours. 
Tomorrow they are only allowing testimony regarding nonconforming land use.

Idaho code 67-6521 - an affected person shall mean one having a bona fide interest in the real property which may be adversely affected by: 
The approval, denial, or failure to act upon an application for the subdivision, variance, special use permit and such other similar applications required or authorized by this chapter(a Conditional use permit for an asphalt plant that will disburse toxins and chemicals at least up to 1.5 miles away, and further by some studies, and property values loss of an average 27%, that counts as bing adversely affected)
