For clarification purposes, last night was a Sherman Oaks "Homeowner's Association" meeting. The Sherman Oaks "Neighborhood Council" which also has a board meeting scheduled for the same date (6:30 pm, September 17 at Dickens Elementary School) was established by the City of Los Angeles in 1999 and is the direct contact with the City government. The Neighborhood Council, not the Homeowner's Association, submitted the homeless shelter sites to Councilman Ryu. This is the meeting to attend."
