Protect Church Street Village

The Issue

Create an open welcoming locally energized green space that will be a multi use plaza for the entire community all year, instead of a 45 storey condominium located at 411 Church street, (Church and Wood street).

This is our last chance to save this vital open space and continue our mission to educate,  protect and preserve this area's historic significance and to acknowledge the concerns of the residents that call it home.

Local residents consider this area the gateway to the Village and would like it preserved and the area used as a benefit to the community.

"The City of Toronto does recognize the Village and it's historic significance"  Kristyn Wong-Tam, City Councillor, Ward 27
