We the undersigned petition the council to refuse the application for developments and extensions by the owners of the amusement park on the Stade referred to in planning application HS/FA/17/01056 and the related application HS/EX/18/00067 which asks for permitted development rights for the site.

These two applications represent a threat to the right of the public to use the footpaths across and around this site. In 2010 the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) adjudicated that the public 'of right', because of the 1893 deed which set up what is now the Foreshore Trust, could use the footpaths across and around this site. given to the public since 1893 and re-inforced by the DEFRA adjudication in 2010. We call on the Foreshore Trust to uphold this right.
