Hi everyone, First off, thanks so much for your support on this issue. I should have known that a neighbourhood like Parkdale would step up, but to see almost 150 signees in less than a couple days is really phenomenal. I wanted to share some news: The first is that we heard through the grape vine that the business that may replace Tibet Kitchen in its current location is a Pizza Hut. While I hold no ill will towards to the property owner, I think we can agree that Pizza Hut has very little of the magic that makes Parkdale special. Secondly, we reached out to Councillor Perks office, and they have agreed to meet us to discuss this matter. While a date hasn't been set, showing strong community support will go a long way for strengthening our cause. We'll provide updates as we learn more.
