I just want to thank all the donors for trying to help Pete Ball come over from South Africa to see the unveiling of Cozy's plaque. We reached the amount we thought was enough to pay for his ticket. Also, we had three very generous donors who were willing to cover any shortfall regarding passport, visa and so on. Unfortunately Pete had an aggravation of his illness during this holidays. So, when he went to his doctor to get an authorization to fly, the doctor said Pete is now too ill to do it. When we started the fundraising we wrote an update to the petition saying that, if we didn't reach our target we would donate the money toward Pete's medical expenses and have a random draw for one donor to join the VIP reception. So, we selected at random one lucky donor and invited him to the reception and he was fortunately able to attend. Steve Graham came to the unveiling on Thursday and shared the day with us and many rock stars.
