Dear friends, Yesterday, members of Pontypridd Friends of the Earth handed in our anti fracking petition to the Deputy Mayor of R.C.T Council. We will now be asking that the Council adopt a Motion to make R.C.T a frack free area. We will keep you in touch with developments but for now we would like to say a huge thank you to you all for helping us with our petition. In great news yesterday…Torfaen Council voted to become a frack free area! This is fabulous news and gives hope to other Friends of the Earth groups around Wales in our ongoing campaigns to get other councils to become frack free areas.
