Besides the recent emissions scandal, VW costumers have been unheard for all these years. From persistent electronical problems, faulty engines and DSG gearboxes, VW has yet to solve or refund its costumers.

Low quality products damage not only the economy and costumers, but also the environment, since it increases the accumulated carbon to maintain the vehicle. 

For exemple, most 1.4 TSI engines (2009-2013) have limited life cycle. Ironically, it is an highly award engine for its low emissions levels. 

We hereby ask the Council of the European Union to investigate this issue and promote the reinforcement of the law on every state, by considering product life cycle and programmed obsolescence.
