The European Commission released the EU budget proposal for 2021-2027 calling for a modern budget for a Union that protects, empowers and defends. The Commission agrees that to fund new and pressing priorities, current levels of funding will need to be increased. Investing now in areas such as research and innovation, young people, the digital economy, border management, security and defence will contribute to prosperity, sustainability and security in the future. For instance, the budget of Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps will be doubled. The MFF (Multi Financial Framework) proposes to only doubling the Erasmus+. Is such proposal enough for the most successful and effective programme of the European Union? 30 out of 1279.4 billion.
