I would like to ask you to join me in petitioning our city leaders to declare the instersection of Elysian Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard as Vin Scully square.

I believe this is an appropriate recognition and tribute to a man who has had a stellar career as the Los Angeles Dodgers play by play announcer for nearly six decades. He has made listening to Dodger baseball on the radio and television an enjoyable experience not only with his description of what is happening on the field but his knowledge and insight into the players and people who make the LA Dodgers the best baseball franchise.
